Title: Transferring patterns
Post by: rhoelsch on February 01, 2018, 08:43:43 am
I have a bartop design with a really wide-diameter curve in the front of each side. I designed the plans in InDesign, and the curve isn't symmetrical, per se. I can print it out 1:1, but how do I transfer the pattern to my MDF?

Print it 1:1, lay it on top and draw? And eventually saw/sand to make it look good.

Print it 1:1, double-tape it to a piece of cardboard, cut it out with a sharp knife, put the cardboard onto the mdf, trace it with a pencil. Keep the cardboard as a template.
