Title: Randy Fromm

Came into a bit of money and am on the fence about purchasing the Randy Fromm DVD package.  I'm not seeing anything online about him that's more recent than a few years old.  Is this set good?  Is it worth the $250?  Is he still demonizing folks that re-sell their used set?

Some Randy's lessons on TV repair are still online: those are gems and will give you a deep insite about the matter.

Seemed like they got uploaded to YouTube at some point, I've watched a couple of them.  His flowcharts were great for identifying the one component at fault and I thought they were better than the bleating "cap kit!" advice RGVAC/KLOV have been dispensing for 20 years.  Don't know how helpful any of it would be for newer monitors... there's only so many G07s floating around....
