First issue with GM after a couple of years.
Got back to a scrambled menu after being away from the cab. Computer and GM working and games load, I just don't see the menu, as it looks out of sync.
Anyone encountered this perticular problem? Guess the XP resolution is off. Question is why and how to fix it,
Help appreciated.

Depending on what your screen is, check the sync pots on the monitor if they help...
maybe H-sync ?

Will def do but games play ok. So it's a bit :dunno

Deffo something with an unsupported modeline triggered in the menu. Games play fine, all buttons work toggling the menus. I'll upload a picture.

Is this also the desktop resolution? I'd guess that windows has just grabbed some fallback setting somewhere. Try plugging an LCD in, and setup the desktop again?

Not necessarily an unsupported resolution. As Sledge pointed out, H-sync pot may have modified its adjustment, even slightly, due to the cold, heat, an earthquake, whatever. This is probably the cause if you chose a resolution with high horizontal frequency for the desktop (typical case).
If that doesn't work, the boot ->F8->VGA mode, etc.

Connected an LCD but of course it doesn't load resolutions. "Not supported"
Connect back to CRT and won't load GM, just reboots.

Installed CRT Emudrivers again and ran WMaker. 120 modes..fine, hook it up to the cab. loads a while with flicker, reboots..again and again...sigh.
Think I might just take it as an oppurtunity to update the whole computer. :-[
