Title: Sound Issues in Advance Mame 1.4 / Frame Rate Dropping

Hey guys,
I am having sound issues where its very glitchy.. eg Area 51, Street fighter Alpha 2 (starts off with no sound and then kicks in after)
I am using Logitech 2.1 speakers, the 3.5mm jack.. any ideas on how to fix this?  It also tends to slow down the game.. maybe its not the sound but the frame rate dropping?  I have upgraded to the newest version at 4.3 as well.

might need final burn alpha for street fighter.
for are 51...isn't that a 3d game that uses a disk image? none of those will run on a pi.
