Hey all, I've been working on a mini pinball for a couple of weeks and just wondering how you guys turn the tv on after the case has been removed? I've tried one of those RF remote enhancer things but the tv still wouldn't turn on. Any help would be appreciated.
Will try and upload pictures later tonight.

Hardwire a button next to the pc power button

Have you tried jamming in the power button and toggling power at the strip? This problem is frequently solved with a toothpick.

Thanks for the advice guys. Shame that RF thing didnt work, i was going to use the tv speakers and control them with the remote. No big deal, I have an extra mini amp.

I also have a pinball machine. I power the two tv's and the monitor I use for the dmd by using a 12vdc relay/220vac that is powered by the pc's psu - that one has a timer behind it that waits 7 seconds before powering the 3 220vac's to the monitors to avoid seeing the bios post screen etc
The pc's audio out is attached to the Backglass tv and that one has external speakers so I can use the remote to adjust pincab volume.
like so (on a din rail)

Thanks for the advice ZoOl007 but that's way way over my head.
Hopefully I'll be able to work on it this weekend.

Thanks for the advice guys, worked like a charm (even with my crappy soldering skills)
I bought glass to go over the main screen but want to hide the border on the tv, will spray paint work or some sort of vinyl?
