Can Mame Analog+ split the axis on a serial mouse?
The reason I am asking is because I currently have a 2.5" happs trackball in my trackball cabinet with the Happ controls trackball to serial port interface board installed.
If MAME analog+ can split the axis on serial, then I could replace that trackball with my 3" Wico PS2 one, and then use the happs interface board to hook up the steering wheels on my Sprint 2 (assuming I give up on trying to fix it).

I'm pretty sure it can. I think as long as your device is recognised as a mouse by Windows, it doesn't matter how it is interfaced.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Yeah it can, just use the "-splitmouse" command line switch or set "splitmouseaxes 1" in the .ini file. You'll get an additional choice in the main Mame configuration menu which allows you to pick which axis belongs where.
