Title: AMI Rowe R87 - Record arm stuck in set down/lift off mode
Post by: Full-Bob on October 02, 2017, 03:45:08 am
I've had my AMI Rowe R87 for 25 years.

This weekend when I switched it on the record arm is stuck on repeat - lifting the same 45 out of the drum, placing it on the turntable then instantly picking it up and replacing it in the drum.

It will do this over and over.

Is there a button or process I can follow to get the jukebox to 'reset' to normal?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Any advice gratefully received as it's never happened before.

I have got a short video of it doing it that i can email to anyone who thinks they can help.

Thanks in advance.

Neil

Hello Neil,

You have got a fault on the electronic boards.

We advise all of customers to send us the following boards for testing/repair.

Central Control Computer (CCC)
Pricing Board (just under the CCC)
Mechanism Control (on the front of the mechanism/carousel)

Regards
Alan
