How can i get dos to install off a cd ?
I have disc1, disc2 and disc3 of dos 6.2 BUT i have no floppy drive... Ive tried putting it onto the harddrive then running it but it says insert floppy and press ctrl + alt + del to install. I need to boot it off a cd, like emulate the floppy drive.
Help me please!

AFAIK, you can't. Those CDs are not bootable. You need a install floppy. There isn't anywhere you can salvage a floppy drive? I've seen more drives tossed than I care to count. Likely you can borrow one, or get one off eBay for a couple bucks.
Then, once you do, get a boot disk from http://www.bootdisk.com

What does AFAIK mean?
It is possible to run dos 6.2 installation off a cd once you get into a prompt, my freind did it, except i cant get in touch with him to ask him about it... I use a windows 98 bootdisc to get a prompt but then i cant install after, sux.

FreeDOS (www.freedos.org) can do it. Maybe you can look at how they do it, or just use FreeDOS instead of MS-DOS.
