Title: Help Printing Marquee Spanning Multiple Pages?
Post by: nipsmg on January 29, 2004, 05:27:49 pm
I must be a moron..

I can't figure out how to print my marquee, and have it span multiple pages.  EVERY program wants to crop it to one page, and won't let me span multiple pages..

Am I missing something here?

I've used Photoshop CS, Illustrator 10, ACDSee, ACDSee FotoSlate

Any Suggestions?  ???

I tried the Photoshop "Print with Preview" dialog and I was able to place the image wherever I wanted on the page and with any size that I wanted. I'd guess Illustrator would have something similar.

That won't automatically span the print, but if you can manually place the image on the page so you can span it it over several pages yourself.

illustrator will let you print over multiple pages. It's under document setup, select either tile imagable areas or tile full pages.

there's a freeware program on the internet called poster7 that lets you print 10 banners/poster etc.  I've used it and have got decent results--any size picture spanned to multiple pages.

Thanks Frost & Menace:

Frost: -- I opened a PSD in Illustrator that's 27.25x8.  I go to print it and it says "Cannot print illustation"
Any idea why? (I'm obviously not a illustrator guy).
