Title: no longer WTB Chihiro motherboard (working) :(
Post by: lilshawn on August 04, 2017, 12:26:29 pm
Looking to see if anybody has a known working Chihiro motherboard they are sitting on.

I have a Ghost Squad game that the xbox board croaked in it. I purchased another board off ebay for it and it worked for 2 days before that board crapped out.

I have all the other hardware and boxes, so if someone has just a bare board, I'd certainly entertain it.

Thanks!

If you don't find one, I'd be interested in buying one of the Ghost Squad guns.

There's a couple of Chihiro PCBs on ebay for $400. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much as I saw an HOD 3 board plus game n dongle go for $250 and I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.

I would post this want ad over at arcade-projects.com

Several people over there own this system so you may have better luck!

thanks for the info BrentRadio, i'll give a shot over there too.

if it comes down to trashing the game we'd probably part out all the guts. I'll send you a message if we do Zebra.

on the upside, it does look like some people have been able to run some chihiro games on modded original xboxes... not sure about the rest of the arcade stuff but it could be promising...

welp, we've held onto this machine in our upper mezzanine for 3 years too long...and with no end in sight, we've now sold it off.  :dunno

hopefully whoever has it will use it's parts or is more willing to dump copious amounts of cash into japan to buy another chihiro.
