My late-2015 IPAC is acting up. After my Windows 10 PC has been running for a minute or two, it either stops responding, or gets stuck on the last button I pressed. Before I get too far into troubleshooting, I just wanted to make sure there haven't been any recent Windows updates that have commonly sabotaged other people's IPAC setups.
Note that if I unplug and replug the USB connection, it works again.. but only for about a minute.

could you test the ipac on a different pc/laptop?
you could just plug it in via usb and then open a text editor window and use the ipac like a keyboard inputting random characters for a while and see if it locks up/loses connection etc

I had the same problem in the past the problem turned out to be that the connector on the ipac somehow came loose and wasn't making a good contact and sometimes shorted out and triggered false button presses the way I fixed it was to resoldering the connector back into place. hope this info helps you :)

It appears that my USB hub must've been flaking out. I waited for the controls to freeze up, then opened up the cab and noticed that the green light on the IPAC wasn't lit. Then I hooked the IPAC directly to one of the motherboard's onboard USB ports, and played for a couple hours with no problems.
