Title: groovymame , 'direct3d error your graphic card does not support non power.......

hi members ,  i tried a later groovymame a few days ago (0.183) and i get the error message

'direct3d error your graphic card does not support non power of two textures'

i use a ArcadeVGA2 ,  i'm thinking it is outdated and i need to upgrade my GFX Card is that right ?

Basically, yes.

Or you can use a GroovyMAME that is derived from a recent ARCADE32/64 or MAMEUI32/64. These have the (power-of-two) check disabled, and often you'll get a fine picture on your old card.

that's great info Rob ,  i have recently bought a Radeon 6450 and the error message doesn't appear anymore.  But this Thread will help others in the future
