I am looking for a pair of coin mechs that don't break the bank so to speak... that look similar to Nintendo ones. I have seen some at Twisted Quarter for $16 but I hear they only do US quarters, and my emails have gone unanswered. Being in Canada my options are limited domestically. Could anyone help in sourcing some affordable coin mechs that have that classic vibe without being too cheesy or choromey - the original Asahi Seiko's are great but too nice for what I am doing, and am hoping to find another source of ones like the $16 ones. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

They are also with euro acceptance, http://www.arcadeshop.de/Coin-Mech-Coin-Plate-Steel-1-EUR_513.html (http://www.arcadeshop.de/Coin-Mech-Coin-Plate-Steel-1-EUR_513.html) , so i am sure there is a chinese factory making them. Haven't found them on alixpress though.

Shipping to Canada is always a killer, and it's never fun when you need parts with a bit of weight to them. I hear they are adjustable but can't get a definitive answer from the places I've contacted.

In Canada try Cineplex-Starburst's (now called Player One Amusement Group) parts department.

Ah yes, what I was meaning when I said "cheesy and chromey" :lol
I think it's going to come down to the real deal, or hoping I can modify the TQ ones... or I will be buying rolls of US quarters and hoping they go up in value... it will be a currency play of the smallest proportions ;)
