Title: E-stik/Suzo-Happ Universal Stick
Post by: Swevicus on June 14, 2017, 12:47:43 pm
Dear BYOAC,

In my never-ending quest for a compact joystick for my arcade-quality-Atari-controller-on-a-budget, I think I may have found one that suits my needs: The Suzo-Happ Universal Joystick (also known as the E-stik on the Ultimarc website). The big question is: What's it like? (has anyone used this stick and what's it like compared to a Sanwa or Seimitsu? Does it hold up well?) I know SH quality isn't as golden as it used to be since the merger, but come on, it can't be that bad, right?

Yours sincerely,
Swevicus.

i have one.  i mainly just use it for q bert since i can rotate it 45 degrees really easy.  short throw, and somewhat stiff.  i don't really use it for much else so i can't say how well it works all around.

I just realised this stick is a clone of the Universal Arcade joystick originally made by IL (Industrias Lorenzo) and it's quite an easily copied stick, too.
