Title: Starting my new arcade (need help to find plans)
Post by: ranx74 on June 13, 2017, 04:55:07 pm
Hello everyone,
I have already built three arcade cabinet (one bartop and one full-height, two based on a raspberry pi3 and one with maximus arcade)... I will post some pictures later to have your feedback :)
Now I would like to start a new one based on a rendering I've found online, this one:

I have some skills of woodworking, software installation, electronics cabling, but... I am very poor on design and I am not able to design a plan version of this to build my panels list and start working.
Is there someone that already worked on something similar?
Thank you very much for your help!

I suggest getting SketchUp. great for mocking these things up and helping you build reference points to get angles right.

Another thing one can do (which I did) was register for a free education license for AutoCAD.

Interestingly enough....I was able to wrap my head around AutoCAD a lot easier.
