I have a mini pac that will not wake the pc but they actual keyboard or mouse will. I have tried unplugging the keyboard/mouse(single usb dongle) disabled usb selective suspend sleep but neither of those work. I am not sure what else to try. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Turn off sleep mode ;)

I had the same question but I am more interested in learning why a keystroke through an ipac won't wake a computer. The ipac LED is on when the computer is in sleep mode so it is powered. It connects to the computer via a USB port, just like the keyboard. I don't think there is anything wrong, just different. Anyone know what?

Figured it out sort of. I just made shift commands for both sleep and wake. As to why pushing the stick or buttons won't wake the pc I have no clue.

The reason for a dedicated wake configurable key is for maximised response. When wake is activated its necessary to check that the PC is in fact in sleep mode before sending the wake which causes a USB bus reset. This check is only done when the wake-assigned key is activated.

I just put a dedicated power button on the back of the cab hooked up to the power on the mobo.
