Hello,
I have recently set up my Ipac 4 to my retropie and all works well but.. I often have what I would call a ghost button gets triggered. This is what happens when I exit out of a game often upon pressing the start button, set up as select in menu, I am taken to the game selection menu but then it quickly starts another game. Some times it's the same game other times the down on the joystick seems to be transferred from shift from the exit to going down on the menu screen.
Is this normal for this ghosting effect? Am I going to fast through the menu that it transfers to the next menu? Or do I need to check my electrical or code?
Thank you.

Are you using attract mode as your front end?
-
Yes, it's Rey's image that I'm modifying.

Can you check in attract mode if you have an exit key mapped for your Mame emulator? (Not in Mames tab menu... in AttractMode itself. If so, remove the exit key from attract mode for the Mame emu.
If that doesn't fix it there are a few other things you can try, but that is the simplest.

I brought the pie home with me, I'll be able to check and see if that's the case. I should be able to know further by tomorrow night.

Ok I so removed both the exit keys that were buttons, it worked for a brief moment. Then I get the same results. Should I remove even the keyboard keys for it?

AttractMode had a few problems like this that were fixed with newer versions. Do you know what version you have installed? You may need to update. (I have the commands for this process if you need them)
-
Not a clue on the version. it has not been updated either.

Great! Thanks for the link. I'll see if I time this week to do that update.
