Title: New pick up today!
Post by: Ian on April 21, 2017, 07:22:36 pm
Well, it's been a good day! I finally worked out a deal for a machine I have been eyeing up for a while. A dedicated Time Pilot cocktail!

Everything is original minus the updated power supply. I love it!

You jerk. I offered 150 bucks for that this morning!

I love time pilot.   :'(

How low did you get them to go? The listing dropped all the way to 300 dollars.

At least I know it found a good home. If you ever want to sell it let me know.

I just picked these up in the last two weeks. They both play, but need some work.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170421/6bb7322e972838b53a5018638e20c4e3.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170421/ff0413c69e883301de3af7bceb73f4cc.jpg)

Championship Sprint? Oh man... I love that game!

I gave him asking ($300)... good thing too. He had it on Ebay for $350 and on the way to pick it up someone hit the "buy it now" option on ebay and the guy felt terrible when I got there because now he was out $50 and had to now figure out a way to refund the guy. I figure if I hesitated just 15 minutes I would have lost out on this beauty!

#152 I did read somewhere that they made only about 200.

I probably wrote that, the estimate is based on the half dozen serial numbers I have heard which varied from my 7 up to about 160.

Congrats!

Time Pilot makes a perfect cocktail game. it's easy to figure out patterns early on, which makes it accessible to most people, building reactions and recognition for the harder levels later on. I find the difficulty ramp is pretty good till the Jet level (1982). But the UFO level  is where it gets a bit crazier.

Awesome game. Enjoy!

... now he was out $50 ...

with all the paypal and ebay fees he'd probably made less than 300,-

I agree... it is a fun little game. Easy controls, and you are right, the game is perfectly laid out for a cocktail.
