Take your traditional defender side art. Remove the stenciled space guy. Add a "stenciled" Samus (main character from metroid) and you have a new style of defender side art.
Idea number 2.
Same concept as above, except don't stencil Samus but add her in the same relative pose. Change flames in the background to the same style as Samus was drawn in.
