Title: Help with a sanwa JLF
Post by: lordoxide on March 28, 2017, 12:01:40 pm
Hey,

The design for my control panel required the mounting plate being 45 degrees but the controller box being straight, so to accomplish this, I drilled holes at 45 degrees in the mounting plate, it worked but one of the screws were off, so its moderately stripped the plastic in the control box. Is there a good solution to secure the screw without ruining the controller? Some epoxy, a dab of super glue, JB weld, locktite, anyone have a situation like this and a suitable fix aside from buying a new controller?

Thanks,
Tom

Truthfully, this is where JB Weld really shines.

Is there any worry about effecting the performance of the controller? Like have the solution leak to far down, or having it eat the actual plastic of the control box?

Thanks,
Tom

I would say superglue but my sanwa's are greasey so might want to clean stuff first if yours are like mine
