Title: Rowe Ami RI-2 Canterbury - needle drops about 30 secs into each song

I have just bought a Rowe Ami RI-2 Canterbury. However, the needle always drops about 1cm into the record, which,with the play-in, means it misses off about 30 seconds of each song.

Any pointers on how to adjust gratefully received.
