A little while back I posted a Nintendo cab that I was going to being working on, but then a friend of mine asked me to build him a bartop and it eventually evolved into a control panel instead. Now that I've done a significantly good amount of work on this I thought I'd post the project for everyone. I still have the programming and T-Molding to do, but here is a picture journey of what's happened so far.

Topped off with a serial plate - If you're wondering Trueblood is the last name of my friend - hence Trueblood Edition

For a second I thought it said Pit Fighter 2.... I was so excited! ha ha ha....
Great build though. I love that you chose a total 90's classic!

Funny thing is when I was looking through the forum I saw this and thought it said Pit Fighter II as well.

Looks good, I'm glad you didn't put Pi Fighter on the actual artwork.

As I was building this for a friend who wanted an arcade cab that got reduced to a bartop then to a control panel, I wanted to give him the illusion of playing on an arcade. Something that would be solid and wouldn't slide around. On top of that I needed several spots where I could mount different parts. The bottom of this unit is the only access to the inside of the CP. So I cannot mount anything on the bottom of it. I had to use the underside of the CP top itself and the back only. Leaving me with very little room for mounting. I could have adjusted the placement of the outputs on the back, but I didn't want the power cord anywhere near the buttons on back.

I have added two new photos. I realized that I never posted the completed project. I will be delivering this to my friend in a couple days, so I thought I had better get some photos. I'm thinking about doing a video of it in action as well since this will be the last time I have it in my house.
