I am trying to make a backup of my GT2016, which is on a 512gb SSD. I would like to move it to a smaller HDD/SSD to repurpose the current SSD. When I try to use CHDMAN .140, It finds the CHS values, but Fails with an Out of Memory error. When I try it with CHDMAN .146, it first gives me a Can't Determine CHS values error, then, if I enter the values found in the .140 output for the chs, it will start, but fail before it even gets to .5%.
Is chdman the right tool for this, or should I look into another one?

Try the latest version from mamedev.org
MAME is at version 0.183 currently. Using ancient versions of CHDMAN is not a good idea at all.
