Hi
I have a ami r84 jukebox i am trying to find the correct voltage for the power supply unit
I have on mine 28vdc 28vac and 11.5 to 14. Should the 11.5 to 14 be 8vdc as on the psu
Or is this accepotable

Hi Phil,
On the 8 Volts DC it is normally about 7.9 volts with a sall load of a test lamp on it.
If the voltage is 11.5 to 14 volts, had better get the power supply unit checked out and the CCC as well because it may have damaged components in the CCC.

Hi alan
Thanks for the phone chat
I have the board out it's a ami 6-08873-01 power supply board
The capacitors c502 c503 c504
Axial capacitors c501 1500uf 50 v c500 3300uf 35 v all bulging on the ends
Will change them
What value are the zener diodes cr501 & cr505
Resistors r510 & r501 I cannot see the banding colours there discoloured
Do you have the values and wattage
Are the capacitors anything special or just standard ones
Schematics diagram would be asking too much
Thanks again regards

Hi Phil,
C501 should be 1250 mfd 50 volt
CR515 is 13 volts
CR501 is 7.5 volts
R501 is 470 ohms 1/4 watt
R510 is 0.82 ohms 2 watt (wire wound)

Iam going to change the transistors q500 q501 & q502 is the mpsa06 an equivalent
Are the cr500 & cr506 Zener diodes & what value
The c501 1500uf looks original but I will change it
Thanks again

Hi Phil,
I have edited the above message regardin R510
CR500 & CR506 to CR514 are just silicon diodes.
Q500 to Q502 are NPN transistors
