This is a DIY kit using 3/4 melamine with a custom control panel using an Ipac2. Using 18" long led strip for the marquee. Trackball glows a light blue with a green trim around it. Spinner is a Spintrak and trackball is a 2" ball from holland computers originally for a 60 in 1 jamma board. Powering the speakers im using a PIE audio amp and the speakers are just regular 8ohm. A BIG shout out to Retroactivearcade.ca for all the hard work, parts and building of the machine.

Nice looking bartop :)
Whats the spec of the pc ?
guess your going to colour in the speaker grill holes as for me they stand out a mile :-[

I actually was going to paint the "grills" but everyone said it looked better that way. I still may though. As for the PC it's an I3 2120 (i think), 8gigs ram, 512Gb ssd, Nvidia 750Ti and windows 7 pro. Sticks and buttons are sanwa with silencers.

Nice pc spec, should be able to play most games at full speed ;D

Paint the grills. Whoever told you exposed particle board looks good did you a favor. You can now safely disregard any advice they give you in the future on any subject.

How is that little trackball? Do you think it could be mounted in a metal panel? Does it work well? I might want to use that model in a future bartop project.
This looks cool. Surprised you could fit all those controls on a bartop. Doesn't look too crowded either. Nice job.

I think I'll paint them this weekend. The trackball itself is 2"amd the whole thing is under 4" square. It was cnc'd out to fit snug with 2 small bolts. It works great!!

You did all that work to make it look good. Painting the grills will make it look complete.

I like the inserts. I might have to try those.

I realize this an old post but I’ve been looking for a two player bartop kit that includes a trackball. I’m having no luck. Where did you get this? Or if the OP is not around any longer, if someone else can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Try Haruman Customs. He posts here.

Probably a custom CP but I'm sure he will cut it for you if you tell him what you want.
-
He says he got it from Retroactive Arcade, that’s a store here in Canada. They’re pretty good to deal with and my go to.

They don't sell kits or bartops anymore. Only preassembled full size cabs.

Thanks, I'm checking them out. Love your Bella's Arcade by the way. I remember seeing it back in the day when I frequented these forums more often and my daughter was four or five (she was born in 2005). I distinctly remember it because my daughter is named Bella as well and I showed it to my wife at the time and she went crazy over it. The girl in the picture could have been my daughter, at the time when I came across it she was about that height, same build and hair. Anyway, I'm rambling... Thanks again.

Ha! Thanks. The computer in that cabinet finally crapped out over the summer and I haven't taken the time to troubleshoot yet. It still gets a fair amount of play especially when there is a house full of kids. It has since been moved from her bedroom to the basement to be with the other cabinets. I've had cabs come and go over the years but I think I'll always hold on to that one for sentimental reasons. Hard to believe she's going to be 16 this year!
