Hi there , I've setup 2 aimtrack guns in my arcade cab , they work perfectly together in mame but when I try them in the model 2 I'm finding that each gun controls a red and blue cross hair , so that there is 2 blue and 2 red crosshairs moving around .
I'm using the model 2 version 1.0 and I've got the ramjet and troubleshooter programs installed in my model 2 folder .
I'm also getting the runtime error 429 every time I start a game on model 2 .
Does that error make the guns not work ?
I'm using windows 10 .
Any help would be much appreciated , I've spent hours trying to get it working .

You need a software called DEMULSHOOTER. Look for it :)

Thanks for the reply , i downloaded the demulshooter zip and installed it.
i then installed a fresh copy of model 2 v1.1a.
I checked out the readme file in the demulshooter folder for launching the model 2 with it .
I then tried to start the demulshooter in the command prompt, but after ive entered what i thought was correct a windows screen pops up and says "this app cannot be run on your computer"
I entered DemulShooter.exe -target=model2m -rom=vcop -v and it keeps saying the same thing .
Im using windows 10 and i had the 4.6 version of demulshooter.
Do i need to also have the demul emulator installed for the demulshooter program to work ? Or is it able to launch the model 2 with out it?
Would love to get these 2 aimtrack guns working in 2 player mode on the m2 .

No you dont need demul to run demul shooter.
As for the windows prob it maybe a compatibility issue with win 10?
Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?
Can you run demulshooter by itself?
-
No I haven't run it in compatibility mode , how do you do that ? All I've been able to open is the demulshooter.exe that lets you select light guns / silent hill / dolphin .
I've been able to get other emulators working on my cab , but I'm struggling with this .

Not sure in win 10 (dont use it) but on win 7 think you right click it then select run in compatibility mode.

Is that what I'm supposed to type into the command prompt?
