I wanted a mini NEO GEO but I wanted 2 adults to be able to play comfortably so this is what I came up with. It's approximately 4'x2'x'2. It's the height of a NEO GEO mini and the width of a regular upright.

Very nice. :applaud:

Super tidy work! :applaud:
Did you ever consider getting a larger screen and placing it in the cab vertically thus keeping the width of the cab in line with a real Neo Geo cab?

That's a great idea but I was using parts that I already had on hand. ;D

How is the control panel held down while playing? Great job btw!
-
He used standard arcade control panel clamps. You can see them in one of the pictures.

I modified the coin mechs to take any coin. I'm not about to leave a bucket of quarters laying about. :laugh2:

Sweet! I'm planning a mini now, did you draw up custom plans, or scale something down from an existing set?

No plans, I just YOLOed it. Drew out the design on a 4x2 sheet of plywood using a photo of a NEOGEO cab as reference. Cut out the two sides and pretty much improvised/trialed and errored everything in between to fit the monitor and control panel.
