Hello,
i bought some months ago from arcadeworld this stick, i noted that the rotating plate sometimes stucks in the middle (on youtube there is a video similar to my issue). I thought that this issue had been resolved. I fixed this loosing the screws, up to almost removing them, but i think that this not a good idea.
In a review of this product, the user had been able to fix this "sanding down" , could you please show how to fix this issue ?

Bought this (and the servo control board) to replace the standard 8-way joystick in my Mayflash F300 fight stick, which I use with RetroPie. The only problem I had with it was that the ring was a little tight and the motor wouldn't switch smoothly from 4-way to 8-way. However, after a small amount of sanding down it works fine and now I can play Pacman and Scramble :)"
Thanks a lot

I used a nail file and i smoothed the restrictor plate (outward). Now the motor is able to perform 4-8 ways flawlessy.

I removed the hair-fine washer springs from mine because they'd jump into the bore and drag. I replaced the washers with much larger washers. I lubricated the heck out of the restrictor plate, and then ran the screws down with removable loc-tite in them until the restrictor would rattle slightly but couldn't tilt much.
Mine work well now.

I had a very similar experience. I wrote about it here (near end of thread)

and included some pics. Only difference is I kept the springs and bent them so they couldn't wind their way in (",)
