Laptop, because you're a globe-trotting trend-setter. A millionaire playboy who uses his Kodak digital camera to take photos of all his plushie (http://www.sexuality.org/l/fetish/plushies.html) parties, all the while dressed in his otter costume. Even while yiffing (http://yiffy.info) with the other members, you need to know that your laptop is safe. So you've got anti-viral protection, because the laptop is connected to the 'net ALL the time. This is necessary to stream the video to your pr0n website, dedicated to the plush fetish.
How'd I do?

-

PS - at work, I'm rocking 13 sys tray icons.
-
9 sys tray icons at work (used to be almost twice that number). I, unfortunately, share a PC with several others and, as such, there's all kinds of stuff that shows up in the tray. :(

LOL, quality :D
I bloody hate system tray icons. I hate getting a new PC at work, and the tray is filled with crap that does nothing useful, just wasting system resources.
I have 4 atm:
AVG Anti-Virus,
The 2 little computers that say you're connected,
The 'Safely Remove Hardware' thing (this always shows up when my ADSL modem is conected,
ADSL modem control panel thing.
It seems I have to have these (ok bar the virus thing), otherwise I would have zero :)
-
You turn off the two computers thing in your networking properties.
The usb connection thing, you have a usb dsl modem? what's up with that?

I've got one too. It's USB or ethernet. I choose ethernet.

OK, I have a confession to make then. I DO like the 2 little computers - you can tell if somethings wrong by looking at them.
Yeah I have a USB modem, it's what British Telecom supply with their broadband package. I quite like it actually - I have it next to my phone (+ therefore broadband) socket.
-
I don't have any at all. All those little buggers do is eat up system resources.
-
Sound
Zone Alarm
I only run virus scans manually when I down load something suspect.
-
0 in win98
start button, no clock, but the bar is hidden most of the time anyways
I did just install XP tonight so no final count on that
-
1 or 2 on notebook depending on if the network is hooked up 3 if I'm using dialup. 2 on other computers to keep clutter down. Even with 1 gig of ram on main comp, need as much system resources open.
-
Am I the only one that does not have a "system tray" ?
