Title: help with hard driving arcade controls (xbox controller)

Not sure this is the correct section. I have a mame cabinet and and xbox 360 controller does anyone know how to map the controls  with the controller. I have hit tab and went into the menu and cant figure out which ones will map it to have the triggers as gas and brake etc...
any help would be awesome
