Hello. I have had a very old Interact V3 racing wheel. I don't think ever used. Software to install is on a floppy disc for Windows 95 and the connector is male VGA.
I dare say I can get the drivers online but does anyone think, or know, if a female VGA to USB adaptor will work?
If not, I dare say I can open it up and do some rewiring to a modern day encoder.

It's probably a 15-Pin gameport connector, not VGA.
If so a USB gameport adapter like this will work:
I have a few of the "Super Joy Box 7" ones and they've worked fine for joysticks. Never had an old wheel to try it with.

The W on the switch is for wheel.
It shows up as a generic joystick.
Keep in mind that you could also buy a used Logitech black MOMO (not the red one) or blue Driving Force wheel for around $30-40.
That would have windows drivers and working force feedback.

Oh yes. Sorry old school blue double screw in port. Force of habit made me call it VGA.
Cheers as always Bad. Ill take a gamble and buy one. No huge desire to own a pricey steering wheel. It's just been in the loft in its box for years never used and just thought I'd drag it back to life as I've now entered the world of arcade control builds.
