I haven't needed anything from them for a while, but occasionally go to their site, and it seems like it has been down for at least a year. Have I missed a memo?
-
i havnt noticed it being down and just checked the main site and the store, and it seemed to be ok
the site isnt working for you at all?
-
I go there to reference stuff at least once a month.
I don't remember it ever being down.
-
I have purchased from them in the last few months. I don't ever see the site down. I've also communicated with Andy... response is always fast.

Yeah. I check their website out every couple of months. No problems here.

Andy hit the 350 Million in a Lottery so, he gave away all the product in stock to all BYOAC members. I guess Danny, you did not get the Memo :)

to keep it simple for this little black duck, what is the URL?
-
what is the URL?
Is this a trick question? :lol
The URL for Ultimarc is http://www.ultimarc.com/ (http://www.ultimarc.com/).

Have you tried turning it off and on again? ;)
Are you browsing from your workplace? There may be content control in effect, or a problem with a caching proxy, etc.
Or gremlins!

I remember Comcast blocking the Mala website for a while.
.....probably your ISP if everything is fine on your end.
-
At some point I had a lot of connectivity issues with ATT uverse at which point I started using google DNS which fixed a lot of missing and broken pages.
-
I'v been having similar problems with websites, including Grovie Game Gear, sense coming to Bangkok. Turning on my VPN always seem to fix the problem. I have used open DNS in the past if you want to try something other then google DNS.

It's the strangest thing. If go to that URL from a google search, it comes up as failed. If I go to it from the link here, it works ???
-
Your wife blocked the url probably in the router or hostfile.
To prevent you of ordering more arcade stuff :lol

HAHA My wife does that and it drives me nuts. She'll say something like "what is the banks website again?" and after I tell her so she goes to Google and type it in as a search rather than just going to the address bar.

No, what I mean is that I couldn't remember the URL so searched on google. i might have typed i n something like 'ipac mame'. This is in safari using google. after i posted i discovered if i use chrome and bing it works. right now im using a windows notebook and doing the same search just using chrome and google it works fine. just one more universal mystery I'll never understand!

Strange issue. We are very much still here.
In fact the reason I have not been on this site for a while and missed this thread is we have been incredibly busy since before Xmas.
