Title: FS: arcade steering wheel
Post by: OSCAR on January 22, 2004, 10:12:58 pm
I was cleaning off a parts shelf and I have a wheel I don't need to store any more.  I have added a bracket that holds one of my optic boards, so it is compatible with an Opti-PAC, Hagstrom ME4, or a mouse hack.  If anyone wants one of my USB mice to connect it to, that will be an additional $9 which includes a wire harness that plugs into the optic board.

The assembly is clean and straight, but the wheel itself has some gouges in the plastic.  It needs a bit of polish, or maybe even one of those pleather steering wheel wraps.

I'm not looking to get a lot of $$ for this, I just need to clear some space around here.  Say $10 or so, plus shipping.    It includes one of my new optic boards and the plastic cover that screws down to the cp that covers the housing.  I just had it hooked up to an Opti-PAC and it works fine.  Shipping in the US will probably be around $10 because it is fairly large and heavy.  Make me an offer, and let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

##EDIT##
Forgot to mention, this is a standard 10" wheel.

I'll check and see...  I think I have another one of those wheels around here somewhere.  If it is in decent condition, I'll let you know.

The one in the pics has been sold.  I'll look this weekend to see if I have another here.

Thanks!

Dammit, I missed the boat. :(  Oscar, if you happen to scrape up another wheel I'd love to buy one that has your optics and interface already attatched and ready to install. I'm going to get a 270 wheel and pedals but  360 wheel is a must.

Let me know what you find. I'll be happy to take it off your hands if you dig one up.

I actually have 2 of these steering wheels for sale (maybe 3 have to go and check).  But I only have a few of Oscars encoders laying around and they aren't for sale..

Sorry for not replying... I've been super busy...

but the real reason is I forgot I posted.

I'll pull them up from downstairs next week and officially add a fs.  The big question I don't remember off hand is if they had encoder wheels.  I don't believe they do.  I know they don't have optics.
