Title: Taskbar showing up when loading hyperspin and stays. Cannot play games :(

Im not too sure what happened but now when i boot up (now using a samsung evo 840 512gb :notworthy:) the taskbar is visible and hyperspin loads in the background.

My setup is over a year old.  I barely use the machine till now since i upgraded to an SSD.

EDIT: Figured it out :)

What was the fix? In case someone else has the same issue.

right click taskbar then properties then auto hide the taskbar.  Seems to have worked for me :)

I had a problem with the front end not having focus when the computer would load up. I reloaded the OS and the issue persisted. I changed front ends from MALA to Hyperspin and now it works fine. Can't say I ever fully got to the bottom of the Mala issue, but I've used Mala many times before and after and never saw that issue again.
