I have a Daytona USA 2 cab, with both Daytona 2 and SCUD/Super GT motherboards/sound cards. I toyed with the idea of putting a PC in there to replace the Model 3 mobo.
I also have an immersion PCB but have no clue on what all is involved on making it work with the Daytona 2 wheel or how to get Force Feedback going. I'm on the look out for a dead model 3 mobo to steal the filter board from, so I can make the conversion to a PC fully reversible.
I read through the "newb FAQ" but it was all about model 1/2 cabs and the L2M2 which wont work on a model 3 cab.
I have the following hardware:
immersion PCB (single board version)
APAC
PAC LED
IPAC2
so I know it should be possible.

As far as I know, nobody has come up with an interface for Model 3 hardware.
SailorSat does have the knowledge to do it, but hasn't had a big enough reason to bother.
It won't work with the Immersion board because the motor is 120V AC (or something like that) and uses a clutch mechanism whereas the Immersion board is made to work with 24V DC.
You can swap in a happ FFB setup and use the immersion board.
Or you could use a different interface and make do without FFB. :'(
I have an Initial D CP (less wheel) that I've been trying to get rid of forever.

I'm not sure how big of a difference there is between the Model 2 & Model 3 hardware.
(although I do have both on the parts pile)
Read through the thread and look for her links.
She's using the arduino and vjoy for input, but has a separate program having a Teensy output the ffb signals to the original FFB board. (I think)

Forget that Arduino + vJoy setup - The teensy2++ handles inputs and outputs (and has been tested with model3 - a scud race to be exact).
But I still have not done a complete wiring diagram or step-by-step howto :)
