Hi guys, I'm a long time member and recently decided to get back into the scene and update my cabinet with modern tech and actual WG arcade monitor (from Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition) instead of an s-video TV. I was never happy with the display...
I've read through hours of info but still haven't found a solid answer that I feel comfortable with.
My question is - Since now I'm using an arcade monitor I have the iso transformer that goes with it, all wires are in place EXCEPT for the 2 AC out going from the iso xformer to the monitor AC in.
In the attachment of the iso xformer where it's circled, does it matter which side the hot and which side the neutral connects to, to the monitor?

nope. once on the other side of the isolation transformer, there is no longer a "HOT" and a "NEUTRAL"
Elechicken explanation:
technically both leads on the output side of the transformer are "hot" but in respect to one another.
the input side has a hot referenced with respect to ground/neutral which is at 0 volts with a hot that alternates between +120 volts and -120 volts (with respect to the neutral).

Ok that's kind of what I thought but wasn't 100% on it and wasn't ready to risk blowing my monitor trying to figure it out. Thanks
