We have been playing a lot of SamShow 4 at work where my cab sits at the time. I am having a hard time with my down back diagonals, so I cant block low attacks fast enough.
I have Happ's Comps and looking to mod them a little. I am building a new CP so I dont want to swap joysticks at the time. I cant find any parts for modding these.
Not only am I having problems with diagonals but there is way too much slop in the stick, I need a faster response to win.
A google search isnt bringing up anything regarding acuator. Anyone got any advice? :dunno

Check FocusAttack (https://www.focusattack.com/) or Paradise Arcade Shop (https://paradisearcadeshop.com/), they have a lot of Joystick parts. Bryan or Susan at Paradise may know about customizing the Happ actuator as they make some of their own custom parts.

You have the actuator on upside down? If not, pull the actuator and put a couple of rounds of electrical tape on it, then re-install, see if it makes a difference. I like Sanwa's better for neogeo games (thats whats in my NeoGeo cabinet)

I guess I will try the electrical tape idea. I checked paradise, focus, groovey, and ultimarc with no success. :dunno
Maybee I should change the joysticks and then reuse them.

most pros here im sure wouldnt suggest this but.. In my very first build i had happ comp sticks, and mortal kombat was my main games. the diagonals sucked. I tried a zippyy joystick on one of my friends table tops, and have used zippyys ever since. Super cheap. 2-4-8 way changeable. And they give me wonderful control especially in my fighters. Thats my personal experience. if you ever find yourself looking to replace, grab a zippyy just to try if youre ordering stuff at the same time. They run about 12 bucks

I read that JLF's are the way to go for fighters, so I bought some of paradise arcade's custom modded JLF's. But have not used them yet. :cheers:
I was looking for a quick fix. I just cant block fast enough. Im a total victim for the low foot kick. The level play we have going on is pretty hard core and fast.
