Still poking around with my Blitz cabinet (ok I'm playing games and tinkering with the software) and some of the work you guys do has inspired me.

One of the things I'm considering is to install a small "rear view camera" LCD below the main LCD since there is room and it could display the current control set for the game being played. What do you think? Not as cool as a changing marquee but would be a nice way to show all the button designations per game.

Love it! How you going to do it? I'd like to add something like that, but I haven't looked in a while. Is there some method to display that to a secondary monitor?

Not do be a downer, but those screens are usually low resolution and so and text displayed will look really bad. Try to get the highest resolution small screen that you can.

I did this with my Tron build and it has been a PITA to get set up correctly. I'm using CPWizard to display the control panel but am having focus issues when the PC first gets turned on.  Having said that it is very nice to be able to see the button configuration for games like Street Fighter and NBA Jam for example.  The screen was added for my kids and guests but I've enjoyed having it just as much.

One of the board members built a bar top arcade with a Changing Marquee using this LCD:

I'm running a widescreen horizontal in my cabinet and there is plenty of room for a small LCD below to display what needs to be displayed.
