Title: Mame64 .177 -- any way to remove INITIALIZING screen before game loads?

Hi all,

Is there any way to remove the INITIALIZING screen that displays after selecting a game?  (That doesn't involve recompiling?)

Unfortunately you'll need to compile with what is now known as the 'suppression' patch. If you search around you may be able to find a build of Mame with it included, otherwise I'd follow the advice here for compiling with the patch:
