Since i cant find any help, can someone at least help me know if the roms or chips at e1 and j1 would have anything in particular special? what i mean is i know the board its missing a chip at e1, so i want to buy one, what i wonder is if it has anything in it as mame mr do dont seem to have e1 only j1. thanks for any help provided,
OLD POST......I wasnt sure on where to start this so if it nneds to be moved,be my guess. Thanks for reading, a bought a mr do board of ebay and it didnt work, so i wonder if someone can help me fix it. The board turns on to a green screen with some garbage and after googling around i found im missing a prom on e10. I dont have any special skills or tools, but i do have a friend with an eprom burner ,perhaps its needed. Thanks for any help.

Hey thanks, As you can see im missing a chip on e10 Not sure what it is for but i did a test on mame to run the game without j10 wich is supposed to be similar, and the game booted ok, i did not played the game to see what would happen but ill se later on today that i have more time. EDIT: i dont find a diference in mame without j10 not sure if it would be the same without e10 as the mame romset doesnt have it.

Can't tell from your pics but is that an Universal PCB or bootleg?

often times boards are built missing certian chips
this could truly be what are seeing
an example is pacman to mis packman
or better yet some the later williams driving games etc..
so i think your problem is a tad deeper then just a missing ic.
in any account it just looks like scratch ram (mame) my use this because it is emulation
what u have is the real and or bootleg
side note alot of times bootlegs will omit a chip

It might be a bootleg but some say its original i dont really know, its the mrd-1102 type with sound amp built in.
