Title: laminate or protectant spray for cabinet artwork?

I finally got my plotter working and printed a artwork set using HP gloss polypropylene adhesive media. Im using dye ink from an HP 1050c... my fear is the CP over time will smudge from constant contact (i havent let it dry for 24 hrs yet)
In case it will smudge I want to avoid laminating it or having to put plexiglass over it the artwork.  Has anyone tried Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear? Suppose to seal and protect with no smudging.

I wouldn't have any problem using that. If you want to be a little less aggressive you could always try using artists spray-fixative which is what I use to stop smudging of pencil and charcoal drawings. It's archival quality and acid free so if won't interact with and damage your inks over time. You may also want to use a UV-coat. Print inks tend to fade much faster than professional inks over time.

Just to be clear I would use one or the other. Not both.  Oh and one other thing... why not print a small sample and test first?
