Title: Filter Cap & Voltage Regulator - Old/New Comparison Pics
Post by: danielm7999 on November 10, 2016, 10:13:28 am
Just wondering if the size difference on the C55 cap (for a K7000) matters. I'm guessing it doesnt matter. Voltage is slightly higher but its my understanding that thats okay. Also the distance between the pins match up.

For the 30130 voltage regulator I noticed that the two bottom numbers are different: 7520 (original regulator) and 9930 (new regulator). Does this matter?

Thanks

it's just the manufacture date code. nothing to worry about.

if you had to for instance use 2 transistors parallel you'd have to match up the date code on 2 of them so that hopefully they were matched close enough together to have similar performance. Or if a particular batch was bad, you could avoid those made in a certain date range.

Great, thanks so much!

And just for the record: the guys at arcadepartsandrepair.com are awesome to buy from. Theyre also lightning fast with email response times. Great quality across the board, for anyone looking for parts etc. Just FYI
