Title: Hose & end pieces for Arcade guns - good options?
Post by: tylerwerrin on November 08, 2016, 07:10:52 pm
Hi guys,

I want to add some hose for my arcade guns, so it feels more "legit" - the hose would hide the USB cables and power wire for the guns. I'll need about 6 feet for each gun - do you guys have any suggestions on what type of hose to use? I'll need a way to add a stopper to the end of the hose - perhaps swage an end piece on?

Any suggestions?

I'm sure there is something more appropriate but off the top of my head, what about a shower hose. They come in either plastic or metal and they should be flexable enough to not be a pain to use.

Copex or flexicon flexible conduit springs to mind not sure how you would attatch it to the gun though

Flexo springs are a good idea.

I was thinking of going with a bolt and washer, crimped down on the hose with a hose clamp. Looking into options to have the hose retract, like a vacuum cleaner cord. Right now I have some neat UniCo Clacker guns, but the pre-assembled conduit that came with the guns is just a bit too short for modern light guns - leads to inaccuracy because im too close to the screen.
