Title: Got a Twistygrip?
Post by: bigmoe on January 21, 2004, 12:26:56 pm
Anyone here build a twistygrip?

How do you like it?  Would you do it again?

Do the plans include springs or some such to keep the yoke self-centering?

NOTE::: COMPLETE HEARSAY...

they work... but they don't have the same weight / feel.  The handles dont' feel the same.  Very light.. But a good and interesting design.

It isn't also all that cheap.  I believe (someone please correct me) that your talking 50 - 60 bucks assuming no major problems... depending on what your local stores are selling pvc for.

And its white.

Consider going for the 135 finished version coming out.  Should be MUCH better... but at a price of course.... and without the do it yourself feel.

Yes. In the parts list for the plans, it does list springs for self-centering.
