Can someone tell me the correct kind of microswitch to use? A pivot one I assume for this quarter mech, but unsure if a wire pivot, or maybe something different? Links tot he correct one would be helpful...thanks in advance.

The issue that I can see is that the holes in the mech mount are in opposite corners. This is for an older roll down type of penny arcade machine - is there some different type of switch?

Well, if you can see the issue, then clearly you should be able to find the solution.

Legitimate feedback is always appreciated. Snarky observations diminish your character, and generally do nothing for historical information of the forum, should someone else in the future have the same issue and search the forums for assistance.

if that piece is installed correctly, maybe it's easier to just drill holes to match the coin switch holes (looks easy enough).

Well, that's pretty much what Neph said in his tough love kind of way. I don't find it diminishing his reputation at all. He's genuine.:dunno:

Can we get a mod to do something about this guy who's clearly being an instigator. Oh wait...

Historical information? What the ---fudgesicle--- is the point? Every newb is too ---smurfing--- lazy to search through the old posts. Out of my thousands of posts, there are many detailed and informative ones. Character? I don't give a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- what faceless users think of my character. I've done tons of physical work for many members of this and other forums, most of which were/are grateful. Try a little harder to think for yourself before asking for an information hand out.
You posted a pic of a coin mech. Switches don't mount to mechs, as can clearly be seen in one of the pics I posted. The issue that you "can see", we can't, because you didn't post a ---smurfing--- pic of it.
