Yo Co-Arcade-Builders,
I'm currently working on my own DIY Arcade Building Project, with a raspberry pi and a 2-player IPAC.
Now I'm having questions about the wiring of my Coin Mech http://www.arcadewinkel.nl/image/cache/data/producten/accessoires/muntproever%20(3)-700x525.JPG (http://www.arcadewinkel.nl/image/cache/data/producten/accessoires/muntproever%20(3)-700x525.JPG).
I have one Coin signal that goes from my Coin Mech to my IPAC and I have two coin inputs (Player 1 / player 2) in my IPAC.
This is the scenario I want to create:
1. You put a coin in the Coin Mech;
2. You select with the player 1 or player 2 button to add the token to one of the players, not both of them.
Is this scenario possible with my current set-up? If so how do I set it up?
Thanks for the respons.

you can do it like this.
wire the ONE COIN input to lets say key 5.
MAP MAME Player 1 Coin input to Player 1 Button 1 AND 5 (so if you want the credit to Player 1, press/hold B1 player 1 and insert coin(5))
MAP MAME Player 2 Coin input to Player 2 Button 1 AND 5 (so if you want the credit to Player 2, press/hold B1 player 2 and insert coin(5))
This will work good for GAMES that require separated CREDIT for each player.
All other games it don't matter who puts the coin in where.
What games are you trying this with ?
