New to the forum, I usually work on the older Wurlitzer's from the 40's & 50's, but took on this project for a friend, its a Rowe R-80, the dc to dc converter was corroded to where some of the transistors broke off the board. I would like to replace them all, have the manual, but its not listed, and I cannot read any numbers on the transistors, does anyone know their valve or where I might find a converter

Hi tigger,
The dc to dc converter is not required for the operation of the jukebox, its only function is to retain selections in memory in the event of a cut in power to the jukebox.
The dc converter was only used on the R-80S & R-81 jukeboxes where the cut down memory unit was used.
The dc to dc converter schematic and parts list is on pages 2-38 & 2-39 of the R-81 manual.

Hi tigger,
The R-80S (1976) was supplied using the new system of the 1200 mechanism intended for the 1977 R-81.
My guess is that Rowe Ami had a surplus of R-80 cabinets so used them up as the R-80S, all that was required was a new loom and a change of keyboard casting and the new mechanism and boards.
