Post by: Boomslang on November 05, 2016, 04:37:24 pm
Ive tried unplugging and re-plugging in specific order but joystick id doesn't change

my wheel is set as joy id 2 and shifter as joy id 1

I got it to work by plugging in a hub.  You don't seem to be able to re-arrange devices plugged directly into the computer, but via a hub you can re-order by plugging and unplugging devices and switching their port.

YMMV though.

They have hubs with switches on them so you can just turn the switches on in order instead of plugging and unplugging... You could also try this...

For the record, I tried JOYID for my issues and it didn't have any effect.  Apparently it doesn't work on win 10.

I got a hub with switch on it like he said above and it worked fine. I plugged it into usb 3 port as it has some usb 3 ports and some usb 2 and plugged my wheel and shifter etc to the usb 2 ports (on the hub)
