I am wondering if anyone knows of any place that might sell junker cabs and such in the fort wayne indiana area? I have never noticed anyone from this area post, but that doesn't mean much lol.
Thanks,
Groovy~ :D

Not sure how close it is (and honestly a little too lazy to look it up on MapQuest right now) but there are constantly arcade related items for sale in Northern Illinois.

Actually fort wayne is on the north east side of indiana. A good 2 1/2 hour drive to get to the illonoise border.

Illinois... I would also be interested in a place near Ft. Wayne. Most people, i.e. dealers, are not very polite when you ask them to buy their used equipment from the Ft. Wayne area.

There is a guy in Bowling Green, Oh, who has a lot of stuff. He'd be about an hour from you.
He posts out on alt.rec.arcade.marketplace (I think) and his email is djmoonsparkle@hotmail.com. Really nice guy and he usually has some decent cabs for $30-60.

I'm currently living in California but I'm from Fort Wayne. When I was home I was looking for a cabinet for my mame project, and one of the only places I could find is Ace Game Room Gallery off of W. Jefferson (half way between downtown and Jefferson Point). Although they specialize in billiards, they had a good number of arcade cabinets in the back. And they'll sell them. The cheapest one I could find was $300, but it was complete. Talk to the manager and maybe he'll part with an undedicated cabinet for a lot less.

I got mine from T-N-T, which is just outside New Haven on S.R. 14 (check the Yellow pages under Amusement). I could tell he thought I was crazy, but he was pleasant and even threw some old buttons and sticks in with it. That was probably about 5 years ago now, so he may have changed his mind on selling to the likes of us.
