Hello I am thinking of upgrading my arcade to run Dolphin better I wanted to know what CPU you guys are ruining the cheaper the better i am using the "Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version" that is build for low end pc and getting good results so I am thinking of a i5 but not sure about the clock speed to get
i live in central america so price is double and availability is 1/2 so any help in narrowing it down would be appreciated

This is the faqs page on the Dolphin forum if you haven't been there. https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/faq/ Looks like they mention the i5. However, my understanding was that Dolphin is still just another emulator relying on processor speed. My 3.7 ghz i3 works great. The only limitation I found was that I can't figure out how to play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with more than one player. The game requires Gameboy Advances for controllers and the dolphin solution is the vgba emulator. So each player requires a separate instance of the gba emulator. I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong or if I just don't have the power in the right place to run virtual gameboy twice alongside dolphin.
